Edible ink cartridges from paper2eat contain premium food grade ink. They are approved by the FDA and safe to use in your edible ink printer. Our edible ink cartridges have a few huge advantages over other brands:
- We use two different formulas of edible ink. One for Canon printers only and one for Epson printers only. The printers of both brands differ from each other. Therefore it is necessary to have two different edible ink formulas. Many other suppliers sell only one edible ink type for all edible ink printer brands which is not optimal.
- They are designed very similar to the OEM cartridges (OEM = original equipment manufacturer, for example original cartridges from Canon or Epson). This guarantees that the cartridges work perfect in your Canon or Epson printer. Some suppliers sell edible ink cartridges that are completely different claiming they would be better. We believe an edible ink cartridge that is close to the OEM-cartridge cannot be topped. Nobody knows the printers better than the manufacturers themselves. This is also the reason why our cartridges use a sponge. The sponge is required to dispense the exact amount of edible ink into the printhead. Without the sponge too much edible ink may run into the printhead. This may cause clogging and in the worst case shorten the life of your printer or even damage it. Hence we are very proud of our edible ink cartridges. They are designed to work best with your edible ink printer but also contain premium quality edible ink.
- Our edible ink cartridges are manufactured in the USA and can be refilled. They come with an auto-reset chip. This chip resets automatically once you remove your empty paper2eat edible ink cartridge from your edible printer. Once refilled and reinstalled your edible ink printer will recognize your refilled paper2eat edible ink cartridge as full again. The auto-reset chip can reset unlimited times, other than many other edible ink cartridges on the market. Many of them either don’t reset and therefore cannot be refilled as the printer will not recognize the cartridge as full again after it has been refilled. Or they use one-time reset chips that can be refilled only once. paper2eat edible ink cartridges can be refilled unlimited times. However, we recommend not to refill them more than three times as the outlet port of the edible ink cartridges may wear out over time. This may impact your print quality and could be a waste of edible ink and edible paper.
